This course is designed to provide the necessary knowledge & skills to become a certified drone pilot in India and make you industry ready. The course covers the following topics:

  • Drone Rules 2021 and Amendment Rules 2022
  • Digital Sky Platform and UAS Registration
  • Type Certificate and Remote Pilot Certificate
  • Flight Planning and Operations
  • Drone Safety and Security
  • Practical Training on Drone Flying

The course duration is 40 hours, including 20 hours of theory and 20 hours of practical training. The course is conducted by NeoSky, a DGCA authorized Remote Pilot Training Organizations (RPTOs) . Upon completion of the course, the candidates will be awarded an RPC (Remote Pilot Certificate) which will be valid for 10 years.
The course is open to anyone who is above 18 years of age, has passed 10th standard or equivalent, and has a valid Aadhaar card.

A Remote Pilot Certificate is equivalent to a driver's license for a car. To fly any of the Drones commercially it is necessary to have an RPC. It will be term illegal if you fly a drone without a Remote Pilot Certificate.
